New Year - New Novels!

We were excited to start new novels (all award winners!) in literature today! Each group was assigned and had the opportunity to plan out the month with their group. They divided the novel into 5 sections, assigned due dates for each section and summary, and planned a final due date for their skill folders. Each group had time to read aloud together at the end. Ask your child about their new novel study group!

Homework Reminder from Mrs. McCann

Glad to see everyone back at school. I hope all of you enjoyed your time off.

7th graders who are in my math class. Please remember to look in classroom for the assignment that will be due on Thursday January 7, 2016. There are images of the problems from the white board and a google doc that includes the word problems. These will help you review for the re-test on Thursday January 7, 2016.

All 7th graders, please look in classroom for the review sheet for science. We will be having a quiz on Friday of this week (January 8, 2016). The quiz covers the first three investigations. There is a google doc that you will need to fill out and bring with you to class on Thursday. The document will help you know what you need to study for the quiz on Friday January 8, 2016. Please remember to review all the definitions in your lab notebooks. The definitions will be helpful when you take your quiz.
